Elsburg police bid farewell to their station commander Brig Linah Thethe as she has been promoted to serving Vosloorus SAPS.

The farewell was held at the Harvard in Germiston.

The members gifted the brigadier with a Bible.

“We gifted her a Bible to remind her to acknowledge God first in whatever she does want to accomplish in life. As she continues serving the communities of Vosloorus she must continue to flourish and teach the good practices that she taught us in Elsburg to achieve what she would like implemented to the new station,” said Elsburg spokesperson Daphney Phooko.

Elsburg members wished Thethe a prosperous journey in her new role. CPF chairperson Johan Lourens thanked Thethe for the support she provided to CPF.

“We would like to thank you for the partnership with had and we wish her all the best. Furthermore, we look forward to working with the new management of Elsburg SAPS,” Lourens said.
