Robb ran 42 consecutive Comrades, with the 42nd run in 2015.

He is one of five Callies runners to have won the Comrades.

He first ran the Comrades in 1974 and finished third in a time of 6:06:45.

Two years later, at age 22, he became one of the youngest Comrades Marathon champions, taking the title from 1976-1978 and again in 1980.
