Burning Stars draw with rivals for Germiston Local Football Association League
Burning Stars drew 2-2 against Bakgatla United FC recently at the Germiston Local Football Association League.
Burning Stars FC U13 team drew 2-2 against Bakgatla United FC in their first match of the Germiston Local Football Association League.

The match took place at the Germiston City Stadium on May 28.
The Makause-based soccer club went trailing one goal down in the first half before they scored their equaliser in the last ten minutes of the first half.
Philani Ncube, Burning Stars coach said they had a tough match to play considering that it was their first match of season.
“We received a red card which almost cost us the game.
“In the second half we went a goal down again in the last seven minutes of the match but we managed to equalise once again within the last three minutes,” said Ncube.
“The players were motivated after the match.
“They waited to play this match for weeks,” he said.
“Our young players responded well to our tactical changes after the red card.

“We had three players at the back to add more players going forward to get a goal,” said Ncube.
“Bedfordview Soccer Club (BCC) also donated their old kit to us after seeing our article in GCN requesting for assistance. The jerseys will be used by the U13s going forward,” said Ncube.
“The local CPF also aided with money to cover transport costs as we went to play,” said Ncube.
