Help identify unknow boy at the Germiston Child Welfare

“We request the assistance of the Germiston community to identify the child or persons known to family members of the child."

Child Welfare Germiston urges the community to help identify or find the family of an 11-year-old boy in their care.

The child has been named Thandolwethu Mudau, a pseudonym name for purposes of care.

He has difficulty walking and needs assistance to stay upright, presenting with physical challenges along with the inability to communicate in understandable language.

“We request the assistance of the Germiston community to identify the child or persons known to family members of the child,” said Barbara Bouwer, director of Child Welfare Germiston.

“The child is currently in temporary safe care and is being looked after but we need to trace his family and reunite them if possible,” she said.

“If anyone recognises this boy or has any information that could assist in tracing his family, please contact Kgothatso Rafapa, social worker on 011 825 3655 or visit our offices at 28 Kinross Street, Germiston,” said Bouwer.
