The Primrose Ratepayers Association (PRA) has called on residents to take part in its first AGM on September 3.

The meeting will take place at 14:00 at Laerskool Die President, on Astronomy Street in Fishers’ Hill.

“We need to fill the positions of chairperson, vice chairperson, treasurer and secretary.

“The chairperson will preside over meetings, in line with our constitution and matters pertaining to the RPA,” said Janet Gerretsen, media officer.

“They will provide leadership and represent the association to outside parties.”

The PRA covers ratepayers in Primrose East, Marlands, Rustavia, Woodmere, Sunnyridge, Sunnyrock, Solheim, Wannenburg, Fishers’ Hill, Symhurst, Gerdview, Homestead, Wychwood A and B, Simmerfield, Malvern East, Dawnview, Primrose, Primrose Hill, Creston Hill and Dania Park.

“We are not affiliated to the CPF or any political party.

“We are a group of concerned rate paying residents who want things to change in our communities,” she said.
