Locals learners set to participate at provincial karate trials

Karatekas and Edenvale High School learners Jared Wade, Leonardo Hambardzumyan and Mary Hambardzumyan have been selected to participate in the upcoming Gauteng trials.

They competed at and excelled in the Ekurhuleni karate trials.

Mary won gold for unison kata, individual kata and junior female kumite. Jared won gold in his category for kumite, while Leonardo won gold for junior male kata and silver for junior male kumite.
