Eden Park murder accused set to make plea
Eden Park mother, Joanne Swartbooi, will reappear in the Johannesburg High Court on April 25 for a possible guilty plea.
Eden Park’s mother, Joanne Swartbooi, briefly reappeared in the Johannesburg High Court on April 17.
During her appearance, the presiding judge postponed her matter to April 25, when she will possibly make a guilty plea.
Swartbooi faces charges of murder and defeating the ends of justice after being accused of killing her boyfriend, Timothy Jacobs, with a baseball bat and burning his body.
She remains in custody after previously being denied bail at the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court.
