Mayor accepts Netball Cup trophy
The trophy is being taken on a tour throughout Gauteng.
Ekurhuleni Mayor Sivuyile Ngodwana received the Vitality Netball World Cup trophy on May 30 at the SPAR South Rand distribution centre in Jet Park, Boksburg.
The trophy is being taken throughout Gauteng and will return to Ekurhuleni on June 3.
The next stop will be the Sam Ntuli Sports Ground in Thokoza, where a netball tournament will be held.
The world cup takes place in Cape Town from July 28 to August 6.
