Four undocumented males nabbed in Roodekop

Four Zimbabwean males, who admitted to being in the county unlawfully, were arrested and detained at Alberton Police Station on May 26.

The EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit officers arrested four undocumented men in Roodekop.

As the officers were patrolling around the area, they came across a small group of men who were walking on Bevan Road. The officers approached the men and requested to search them.

Three of the men explained that they do not have passports, while another one alleged that his passport had expired but could not produce the expired passport.

The four Zimbabwean males who admitted to being in the county unlawfully were arrested and detained at Alberton Police Station.

They face charges of contravention of Section 49 (1) of the Immigration Act (Act 13 of 2002).
