Local church celebrates eleven decades

Edenvale Methodist Church is celebrating being part of the community for 110 years.

They wish to share this special occasion with previous members of the church.
Located at 57 Sixth Avenue, the congregation has spent 67 years in the church. The previous 43 years were spent in the greater Edenvale area.
Member Gail Galanos said to celebrate the church’s history, they wish to make contact with those members who were or had family baptised in the church, were confirmed there, had their weddings there or held a funeral or memorial service for a loved one.

“Please contact us so we can remember your family at our Heritage Month services during September,” said Gail.
“We want to share previous members’ connection with the church through photographs and stories.”
