Join Chubby Chums fundraiser for festive season

The child welfare organisation invites you to make a meaningful contribution to the organisation.

As the festive season slowly approaches, Chubby Chums would like to invite the community to be part of its fundraising initiatives.

LEGO has sponsored the prizes for the annual raffle to raise much-needed funds for the organisation to continue its work, feeding schemes and soup kitchens during the festive season.

The raffle prizes are as follows:

• First prize: LEGO Marvel Avengers Tower valued at R10 399.
• Second prize: LEGO City 60167 valued at R4 990.
• Third prize: LEGO Speed Champions Ford GT Heritage Ed. & Bronco R valued at R2 590.

“The draw will take place on December 17. Winners will be contacted to collect their prizes. A Section 18A Certificate will be issued upon request.

“Kindly use RAFFLE XMAS 24 and volunteer’s name as reference for administration purposes,” said project manager Roelien Haines.

This is how you can participate in raising funds for the organisation’s Christmas wishes:

• Sweetie packs: Help create delightful sweetie packs for the children. Whether it is 10 packets or 100, every contribution brings a smile to a child’s face.

• Ideas for contributions: Any sort of packaging material, sellotape, wrapping paper, party size boxes or sweetie packs, ribbons.

• Any assortment of lollipops, sweeties, biscuits, toffees, juice, chips, small toy.

• Soft toys: Donate soft toys that can become a treasured companion to the little ones.

• Monetary contributions: Any contribution, no matter how small, can collectively make a significant impact.

“If a commitment this month is not possible, pledges for future assistance are equally valued. We believe in the power of community and the difference we can make together.

“Your support, in any form, will light up the faces of the children this Christmas,” said Haines.
