Burning Stars Football Club has appointed a new U15 and U17 coach, Ayanda Malindisa, from Primrose East.
The young female is a football fanatic and former player of the game.
She said while in primary school she started playing soccer, netball and participated in athletics.
The club has U11, U13, U15, U17 and senior divisions. All them except the senior team compete in the Safa Ekurhuleni regional league.

Malindisa said injuries prompted her to quit playing and become a coach.
“I have come to enjoy the coaching. I like working with the players and getting to work on combinations, dribbling skills and more,” said Malindisa.
She admitted that she is still learning while looking to grow as a coach.
“I would like to become a qualified coach one day. My family are behind me and they like seeing me do what I enjoy.
“The boys have shown a level of respect and they listen to instructions,” said Malindisa.
The club continues to strive and seek assistance with new soccer balls, training and match kits and sponsors for transport.
