Germiston Simmer Rugby Club golf day rescheduled to June 26

Club's Cathy Dennis said beyond enjoying a great day of golf, businesses are encouraged to get involved through hole sponsorship opportunities.

The much-anticipated annual golf day fundraiser at Pollak Park Golf Course has officially been rescheduled for June 26.

This exciting event offers the perfect opportunity for the community to come together in support of the Germiston Simmer Rugby Club, as the team raises vital funds for its participation in the GLRU Grand Challenge this year.


Club’s Cathy Dennis said, beyond enjoying a great day of golf, businesses are encouraged to get involved through hole sponsorship opportunities.

“This not only supports local sport but also provides valuable exposure and visibility among participants and attendees.”


“Participants are urged to register before June 10, to secure their place in what promises to be a memorable day of sport, networking and community spirit,” said Dennis.

Find the Joker draw

The Simmers continues every Saturday at 20:00 at the Tryline Clubhouse, where the Germiston Simmer Rugby Club hosts its popular weekly Find the Joker draw.


“Tickets are just R10 each, and there is no limit to how many tickets one person can purchase. With only 450 tickets available per week, participants are encouraged to secure theirs early for a chance to win,” urged Dennis.
