Mabuza murder case transferred to Vosloorus Magistrate’s Court

Mtshali’s case will be heard on February 16, at Vosloorus Magistrate's Court.

Murder accused Mfanzile Obed Mtshali on February 2 briefly reappeared in the Boksburg Magistrate’s Court, facing charges of murder.

He is accused of shooting and killing his girlfriend, Noxolo Mabuza, on August 2, during his birthday celebration at Ext 25, Vosloorus.

The court case was postponed to February 16 and transferred to Vosloorus Magistrate’s Court after the prosecutor, Thobani Khwuela, informed the court the investigation on the case was completed.

Mtshali’s defence did not oppose the transfer.

According to police reports, Mabuza sustained a bullet wound on the right side of her chest. Two live rounds were found at the crime scene.

He was arrested and denied bail on September 26.
