EMPD Eastern Region Task Team officers recently recovered a vehicle, which was reported stolen, in the Leondale area.

A lookout was dispatched about a vehicle reportedly stolen in the Brakpan area, and the officers followed up on the information.

A motor vehicle, a white Isuzu bakkie, matching the description given, was found abandoned at Luthando Street in Leondale.

The vehicle was tested and found to be stolen in the Brakpan area. All the necessary stakeholders were summoned, and the vehicle was taken to Aeroton pound for safekeeping.
