WATCH: Katlehong musician finally drops new visuals of his single

The music video for Banomona is available on YouTube.

Katlehong’s award-winning music producer Voxyzie Bone finally released the much-anticipated music video for his single Banomona on August 3.

Voxyzie Bone, real name Bongani Dlamini, released the single on October 8, last year.

He composed the record alongside Sphelele Siphosakhe Dlamini and featured Shende and Madoda on vocals.

He said the video was shot by his company Namanje Dawg Visuals and DB5, owned by Pitso Mabele.

“Fans can expect new age maskandi movement with fresh talent and new faces in the music industry. The video is more of cultural wear, it also showcases a new brand from Katlehong called Piano Africa,” he said.

He said what he was trying to tell people through the song is that all people should celebrate those who achieve great things.

He said he recorded the song to celebrate his achievements.

Voxyzie Bone and Madoda received a certificate of recognition from an international radio station called JKristyke Indie Radio.

“Banomona was created after I won an accolade at the Mem awards for best producer for Njalo which features Madoda, and Sound Africa where I featured Star Khid.

“Many did not believe that I would win and when I did, they become jealous, that is when I started working on the song,” said Bone.

The song is written and recorded in isiZulu while the beat is made of maskandi guitar melodies and a four-step grove with an eight-bar rap verse. Its arrangement was planned to give the listener time to enjoy both the beat and vocals.
