Bertha Gxowa Hospital calls on relatives to claim bodies

“We urge family members and friends to come forward to claim the bodies of their loved ones because pauper’s burials will be arranged should they remain unclaimed.”

Bertha Gxowa Hospital is looking for the relatives of deceased persons and calls on family members to come forward.

• Tshepiso Maine’s baby died on July 27 in the labour ward after the mother from Winnie Mandela Zone 3 in Thembisa delivered the baby.

• Vusi Seketi was picked up at Shalondale informal settlement in Brackenhurst, Alberton, and died on August 31.

• Carlos Makumere was picked up at Wannenburg Clinic, Primrose, and died on September 19.

• An unknown patient picked up from Collorado Hotel died on September 15.

“We urge family members and friends to come forward to claim the bodies of their loved ones as pauper’s burials will be arranged should they remain unclaimed,” said the Bertha Gxowa Hospital communications officer, Mampe Marapyane.
