Hospice East Rand appeals for volunteers to come on board
“This is more than just volunteering; it is a chance to directly support our mission and make a meaningful difference in our community.”

Hospice East Rand appealed to community members to volunteer at its Lambton Charity Shop.
The shop urgently requires volunteers. You can find at shop numbers 5 and 6, Lambton Gables, on the corner of Webber Road and Third Avenue.
The marketing and media liaison for Hospice East Rand, Jonquil Siepman, said volunteers play a vital role at the charity shop.

Some roles include unpacking and sorting donated items, serving customers and maintaining store tidiness.
Community members profoundly impact the lives of those with life-threatening illnesses by volunteering.
“This is more than just volunteering; it is a chance to directly support our mission and make a meaningful difference in our community.
“If you can spare a few hours a week or more, your help would be invaluable and truly appreciated,” said Siepman.
