Germiston residents experience water supply shortage
City said the ongoing issue has been deteriorated by an increased water consumption among residents.
The City of Ekurhuleni urged residents of Germiston to use water sparingly after some parts of the area experienced water supply interruptions due to low storage levels at the Russel Road Reservoir.
According to the City, this has been compounded by increased water consumption.

The affected areas include:
* Norton Small Farms
* Castleview
* Dinwiddie and
* Albemarle
Water tankers have been deployed to:
* Lennox Road, Albemarle
* 29 De Beer Road, Union and
* Jacoba Street, Norton Small Farms
