Botha sentenced for triple murder

Eugene Botha pleaded guilty to the murders of his sister and parents and was sentenced earlier today by the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court.
Botha was arrested and charged with three counts of murder, illegal possession of a firearm and live ammunition.
He was convicted of all charges, including perverting the course of justice.

On June 28, Botha attended his first pre-trial hearing at the Johannesburg High Court.
The 43-year-old will serve his sentences concurrently.
