Join inspirational talk by environmentalist in Modderfontein
Forbes has walked in the Alps, the Andes and parts of Europe.
At the next Modderfontein Conservation Society meeting, adventurer Gordon Forbes will tell the tale of how a walk in Spain inspired him.
The 73-year-old retired construction project manager and environmentalist has walked many interesting and challenging trails, from the Alps to the Andes and parts of Europe.
His experience walking the Spanish Camino Trail to the holy city of Santiago de Compostela was a highlight.

Forbes will share this event on April 26 at the Education Centre Lapa in the Modderfontein Reserve at 14:00.
His presentation will be after the society’s AGM, which begins at 13:00.
Visitors are welcome, and there is a charge of R30 to help cover expenses.
