Get ready for a Mother’s Day market in Marlands on May 3

The M.A.D market will host a Mother’s Day market in Marlands on May 3.

The M.A.D team would like to invite the community for a festive, fun-filled day at 28 Keurboom Street.

Designed to celebrate and spoil the moms, the event promises something for everyone — from handmade crafts to mouth-watering food and soulful live music. With over 55 stalls, visitors can expect a wide variety of locally made products, including jewellery, fashion, accessories, and unique gifts ideal for Mother’s Day.

The market isn’t just about shopping. Families can look forward to an impressive entertainment line-up featuring local acts, including the smooth sounds of Soulitude and other talented performers. Guests are encouraged to bring picnic blankets or camping chairs to relax and enjoy the music.

To make the day extra special, the first 50 moms through the gate will receive a special gift, and there will be spot prizes awarded to the best-dressed mom-and-child duos. Pets are welcome too, as long as they’re leashed and social.

Entry fees will be R10 for adults and R5 for pensioners and children. All proceeds will support the Better Primrose LPR camera project, a local initiative aimed at improving neighbourhood safety.
