Primrose murder accused back in Germiston court on June 20

Nkosinathi Mabasa appeared in Germiston Regional Court on May 28 in connection with a 2023 double murder case. The hearing was postponed to June 20 to allow further consultations and review of State evidence.

Nkosinathi Mabasa appeared in the Germiston Regional Court on May 28 over alleged involvement in a double murder stemming from an incident in Primrose last October.

During Wednesday morning’s hearing, the court postponed the case and remanded him in custody.

Mabasa stands accused of killing two men whose charred bodies were found in a burnt-out car near the Wannenburg Clinic on October 2.

His case was again postponed to allow his defence to conduct in-prison consultations and review the evidentiary footage provided by the State.

The matter will return to court on June 20.
