Young athletes shine at 2025 Sub Youth Track and Field season in Germiston

Athletes competed in the recent CGA Sub Youth Track and Field League's events at the Germiston Stadium.

Central Gauteng Athletics (CGA) recently hosted the first and second leagues of the 2025 Sub Youth Track and Field season at Germiston Stadium.

The event was blessed with beautiful weather, creating the perfect atmosphere for young athletes to showcase their talent.

The league, which caters for athletes aged between seven and 13, attracted more than 1 000 enthusiastic participants from across the province, setting the tone for an exciting season ahead.

The day was filled with thrilling and highly competitive performances, as young athletes displayed incredible speed and determination in the sprints. The field events were equally exciting to watch.
