Vryburger High inspires Class of 2025 ahead of matric finals

Germiston’s Vryburger High principal has encouraged matric learners to believe in their strength and determination as they prepare for the final stretch of their schooling journey.

As the National Senior Certificate (NSC) exams draw to a close, civil organisations and schools are sending their well-wishes to the matric Class of 2025.

Among those sharing words of encouragement is Vryburger High School principal Stephanie Diedericks, who offered a stirring message of motivation to the learners.

“As the matric learners get ready to write their final NSC examinations, you are reminded that you have come far,” said Diedericks.
She highlighted the journey that each learner has taken to reach this point.

“Twelve years of hard work, growth and perseverance have brought you to this moment. Through the tears, trials, and moments of doubt, you have managed to rise above the turbulence and soar like eagles.

“If you’ve felt anxiety up to this point, that’s only natural, but remember, you are ready for this final stretch.”

Diedericks reminded learners that their success lies not just in the pages of textbooks but in the strength and resilience they have shown throughout their schooling years.

“You have the knowledge, the strength, and the determination to succeed. Believe in the effort you’ve already put in, and trust the journey that has shaped you into the young adults you are today. We believe in you and your innate capabilities.”

She encouraged learners to hold on to the legacy they are building.

“You’ve been sowing seeds into your future from primary through high school. As you approach the culmination of your schooling career, you will surely reap the rewards of your harvest. Remember the legacy you are creating, let it be momentous and noteworthy. This is your time to shine.”

With pride and unwavering support, she closed her message with one final note of encouragement.

“The entire Vryburger High School community stands proudly behind you. Go forward with confidence and give it your very best.”

Vryburger High School stood with immense pride this year, having been recognised as the top academic school in Germiston, achieving an impressive 93.2% matric pass rate.

Beyond the classroom, the school also made its mark on the sports field, cementing its status as a rugby powerhouse by claiming victory in the prestigious Noordvaal Cup.
