Ekurhuleni couple turns pain into purpose through Worship Experience Movement

Experience the movement inspired by a little worshipper whose life proves that nothing is impossible with God.

In a world where faith is often tested, one couple’s story has become a beacon of hope and divine purpose.

Born out of a journey of perseverance, prayer, and unconditional trust in God, the Worship Experience Movement stands as a testimony that nothing is impossible with God.

The vision, birthed in 2024, was founded by a couple whose story of faith began with a long and painful wait. For 12 years, they prayed and believed for the gift of a child.

In 2018, their prayers were answered when they conceived for the first time. Sadly, that pregnancy ended in a miscarriage, but instead of giving up, they chose to hold on to faith, trusting that the same God who opened the womb once would do it again.

Later that same year, they conceived again, this time with their son, Eli Kairo. At 16 weeks, doctors advised them to terminate the pregnancy after diagnosing Eli with Trisomy 21 (Down syndrome). Despite the prognosis, the couple made a courageous choice: to keep their baby and trust in God’s will.

“We believed that Eli’s life carried a divine purpose,” they shared. “We knew that God doesn’t make mistakes and that our son’s destiny would glorify Him.”

Throughout her pregnancy, Eli’s mother continued to lead praise and worship, carrying within her not just a child, but a worshipper. On 4 June 2019, Eli Kairo was born, and from his earliest days, his love for worship became evident.

“Despite the challenges that come with his condition, Eli’s heart overflows with joy whenever he is surrounded by the sound of worship and praise. Eli’s life has reminded us daily that miracles still happen,” said Lynette Jonathan, the mother.

“His joy, resilience, and love for God continue to inspire us and everyone who meets him.”

The birth of a vision

It was through Eli’s life that the vision for Worship Experience was born – a divine movement created to unite believers from all nations in one place to lift up the name of Jesus Christ.

The heart of Worship Experience is simple yet profound:
• To inspire faith and hope through powerful testimonies.
• To create a sacred space for divine encounters and spiritual breakthroughs.
• To foster unity among believers from diverse backgrounds, demonstrating that in God’s presence, all are one.

Through worship, the movement seeks to remind the world that miracles are real, healing is possible, and breakthroughs are available to all who believe.

The couple describes Worship Experience as more than just a gathering; it is a movement of revival, a space where hearts are transformed, chains are broken, and lives are changed forever in the presence of God.

“We want people to know that what God did for us, He can do for them too,” said Lynette.

“Our story is proof that God still performs miracles, and that worship can change everything.”

The Worship Experience event this year was hosted on October 25, with the belief that people from all over the world would come to be part of what God is doing through this movement, to witness miracles, encounter God’s presence, and leave forever changed.

Eli’s life continues to be a living testimony of God’s faithfulness, a constant reminder that hope can be restored and that God’s timing is always perfect. Through Worship Experience, his parents are determined to share this message with the world.

“This vision belongs to God, and Eli’s story is proof that His power still moves among us,” said Lynette.

“We pray that every person who attended experienced the love, healing, and miracles that only God can give.”
