The spirit of giving and community will shine brightly at this year’s M.A.D. Marlands Christmas Night Market, a festive event dedicated to making a difference in the lives of people and animals.

Taking place on December 13 at 28 Keurboom Street, Marlands, Germiston, the event promises a magical experience for families, friends, and furry companions. Gates will open at 13:00 and close at 21:00.

Twinkling fairy lights, cheerful music, and the irresistible aroma of artisanal food, the night market will have 55 stalls of handcrafted treasures, perfect gifts to slip under the Christmas tree. Residents are encouraged to enjoy a relaxed and vibrant outdoor shopping experience right in their community.

With an entry fee of just R10 for adults and free entry for kids, the market offers an affordable and memorable outing for families.

Guests can look forward to gourmet food stalls, deli stands, a variety of craft beverages including cocktails, gin, wine, and craft beer, plus an exciting line-up of local musicians to keep the festive vibe alive throughout the evening.

Children will be treated to dedicated entertainment areas, while pet owners can bring along their furry friends on a leash. There will be water points provided to keep them comfortable.

A special highlight of the market is the participation of several NPOs whose work supports vulnerable people and animals.
