Locals enjoy school Winter Market

Adding to the excitement was a live performance by Tiro, who travelled from Lesotho to be part of the event.

The grounds of Laerskool Die President came alive on May 30 as learners, parents, residents and local entrepreneurs gathered for the school’s winter market.

The fundraising event brought the community together for a day of shopping, food, entertainment and support for the school.

Fezile Mgcini and Gugulethu Mgcini, from Vosloorus Ext 2, came to set up their stall, enjoy the market and support the school, where their daughter is in Grade R.

Adding to the excitement was a live performance by Tiro, who travelled from Lesotho to be part of the event.

Tiro performed live at the market, here he’s seen with Lenne Fourie from the school.
