Several people were detained by immigration officials during a by-law enforcement operation at an illegally occupied building in Germiston.

The City of Ekurhuleni conducted a by-law enforcement blitz in Germiston, where building control officials inspected an illegally occupied property as part of ongoing efforts to improve compliance and public safety.
