Crusaders South Africa and Primrose Bowling Club donated pet food to the local SPCA.

Crusaders South Africa and Primrose Bowling Club donated pet food to the Bedfordview/Germiston SPCA as part of their 67 Minutes for Mandela Day initiative today.

The donation formed part of the organisations’ ongoing commitment to giving back to the community through various outreach projects held throughout the year.

Alex Annandale, also known as Meatloaf, from the Johannesburg Charter of Crusaders South Africa, said supporting communities is at the heart of what the organisation does.

“This is one of the many community projects we do throughout the year,” said Annandale.

“We have a Women’s Month project coming up next.

“Today was about giving back to another form of life – the animals. We donated to the Bedfordview/Germiston SPCA as part of our 67 Minutes for Mandela Day initiative, continuing our commitment to supporting local communities.”
