Appreciation for the humble hearts

Rest-A-While Service Centre for the Aged says thank you.

Rest-A-While’s Wendy Morgan, Primrose, writes:

We, at the centre, thank all those who attended the fund-raiser held at Wychwood Primary School, on October 18.

Thank you Les O’Neill for the use of the hall.

To the O-Top-Ps, Johann Faurie and Doep Bruwer, who very willingly kept us entertained, thank you once again for your time to help our elderly.

A special thanks to Christine Swarts from the BarFly, who really went out of her way to help and for her donation of the takings from the cash bar for the night.

Thank you to the patrons of the BarFly for your support.

Thank you to African Breeze Refrigeration for the ice, and Pat Barrow for the prizes and chips.

Another big thank you to all who helped to make the event a wonderful and very successful evening for Rest-a-While.

The much needed funds raised will be used to help to pay for everyday expenses such as water, lights and petrol.

The funds will help us to give a wonderful Christmas party in December, and food parcels to see them through the month.

To Derek, Angela and Connor Morgan, Trudy, Carlos and Geraldine Carreira and Martie Beukes, thank you again for helping without too much grumbling.

May you all be blessed for giving time to help others.

Here is wishing you all a very blessed and safe festive season and the knowledge that you have made a difference in the lives of the elderly of Primrose.
