The 2013 Ekurhuleni Basketball Association play-offs recently took place at the Brakpan Indoor Sports Centre.
The play-offs marked the end of the 2013 Ekurhuleni basketball season and some enthralling and high-paced basketball was the order of the day.
Spectators enjoyed the intense up-and-down action that the sport guarantees, and the men’s and women’s teams provided interesting match-ups.
In the men’s division, it was the Kempton Knights who defeated the Gladiators in the final, while the Katlehong Bulls were the victors in the women’s final against Spartan Breeze.
The Ekurhuleni Basketball Association (EBA) has a number of tournaments and clinics lined up for 2014, taking with them this years’ success and lessons learnt.
