Books of condolences delivered

The books of condolences will allow community members to express their feelings on the loss of former President Nelson Mandela.

The books have been delivered to the three identified main mourning venues of the City of Ekurhuleni.

This means that mourners now have official venues available to them for the laying of wreaths, passing their heartfelt condolences and paying their last respects.

The three identified venues are KwaThema Civic Hall, Kempton Park Civic Hall and Germiston City Hall.

These facilities are now open and will be operational between 9am and 10pm until Sunday, December 15.
