Football club hard at training

Early start for the new season.

The young stars at the Dinwiddie United Football Club have already started with their preparation training for the new season, that will commence next year.

“Everybody at the club loves the game and we can’t wait until we have the chance to compete in the ELFA League, next year, which is why we have decided to have an extra early start,” said club manager Percy Matlatse.

“The players say training keeps them mentally and physically fit and, therefore, helps them to prepare for their year-end exams with healthy bodies.”

The club is based in Dinwiddie and consists of u-11s, u-13s, u-15s, u-17s and the first team.

“We train at the Dinwiddie High School grounds and also host our friendly home games there, something for which we are completely grateful,” explained Matlatse.

The club would also like to extend an invitation to teams who are up for preparation games, for the new season.
