Germiston FC take part in pre-season tournament
Germiston FC face-off against Corinthians in this weekend’s match-up.
Germiston City Football Club are preparing for the new season by taking part in a friendly pre-season tournament.
The tournament, hosted by Olympia Italian Football Club, in Bedfordview, will see matches played each Saturday in February, between Olympia, Alberton FC, Bedfordview FC, Corinthians FC and Germiston FC.
The opening game (February 6) saw Germiston pitted against Bedfordview, with the sides drawing.
The second team ended on 0-0, while the first side finished on 1-1.
At the weekend Germiston faced-off against Corinthians, with Germiston’s first team winning their match 3-1 and the second team playing to a 3-3 draw.
This Saturday, Germiston will go head-to-head with hosts Olympia.
