Football team urge players to come for try-outs

The Puma Rangers FC in Elsburg are currently looking for team players and sponsors.

There is a new football club on the block and it is looking for players.

Puma Rangers FC is based in Elsburg and trains at Laerskool Elsburg from 4.30pm to 6pm, from Monday to Thursday. It has three divisions, namely, u-13, u-15 and the senior side, which is currently playing in the Germiston Super League.

The club is currently on the lookout for talented players within the area who fall in the above divisions.

The team has many players from the informal settlements, as well as from Ramaphosa, Dukathole, Elsburg and Lambton.

The team thanks Coca-Cola Wadeville for its support, the community development worker of Ward 39, Jane Sibiya for her assistance, Alex Zulu, its chairman, and Simo Maphumulo for assisting with transport.

The club also acknowledges its IT manager, Marcerlo Muinga, for his great work in setting up its website, www.pumarangers.co.za.

They club is appealing to businesses in the area to assist by becoming sponsors or to help with funds to assist the club.
