Karate is youngster’s passion

Cameron David, a Grade Three learner at St Catherine’s School, is a young karate champion.

So far the youngster has achieved Ekurhuleni karate colours for kata, kumite and unison, Gauteng karate colours for kata and kumite and has represented Gauteng at the Karate South Africa Nationals (all styles) where he achieved a bronze medal for kata.

He is set to represent South Africa at the World Goju Ryu Karate Championship to be held in Romania in September for kata, kumite and unison.
