Tough away match for Elsburg Rugby Club
Elsburg Rugby Club faced Heidelberg Rugby Club in an away match on Saturday afternoon.
The Elsburg Rugby Club continued their Kestrel League campaign this Saturday when they travelled to Heidelberg to face the Heidelberg Rugby Club.
The two teams were evenly matched from the first whistle with neither giving the other much room to score.
This meant that the match ended in a 13-13 draw.
Elsburg’s two tries were scored by Juan Barnardt and Rudie Wessels.
The club’s next match will be played at the Elspark Sports Grounds, on May 27, and will see the team tackling it out against Eden Park Rugby Club.
The community is encouraged to come and support the home side.
The first teams kick-off at 4pm.
