No action for Germiston this weekend

The Germiston City Cricket Club didn’t see any play this weekend.

It was a quiet weekend for the Germiston City Cricket Club with the only match scheduled for the weekend ending up a no-show from the opponents.

The Sunday Promotion League side was scheduled to play at home at the Germiston City Sports Club but opponents Midrand forfeited the match 90 minutes before the scheduled starting time, giving Germiston the league points.

The other three sides, namely the Saturday Second League, the Sunday Executive League and Sunday President’s League all had byes.

This coming weekend the Saturday Second League will play at home against Nigel Cricket Club, The Sunday Executive League side will be at home against Avion Cricket Club and the other two sides have byes.
