It has been another successful and rewarding year for the Germiston Simmer Rugby Club.

“Simmer has had an amazing season with four of our five teams playing in the semi-finals and two teams making it to the finals.

“This year the first team walked away as winners of the Bailey Cup and the senior sevens team also won the plate final at the Lions Sevens Tournament, after beating the Pirates Rugby Club in the final,” said club president Rene Audier

Audier thanked everyone who contributed to the club’s success this year.

“It’s heart-warming to see the passion for the club on and off the field,” he said.
