Future stars enjoy exclusive tour
The young footballers got to spend time in the five-star gym where the Amakhosi players train.
The two winning teams in the inaugural Ekurhuleni Future Stars Off-Season Tournament, held from December 7 to 10, not only won trophies, medals and brand new soccer kits but were also spoiled with an exclusive tour of the Kaizer Chiefs Village.
The boys and their coaches travelled to the state-of-the-art facility in Naturena, where they were shown around the premises by Vina Maphosa, communications manager for Kaizer Chiefs.
The boys from Warriors FC, the u-15 winners, and Elspark United FC, who stood in for u-17 winners Masondo Academy FC as they were unable to attend, got to spend time in the five-star gym where the Amakhosi players train.
“During the tour the teams met the Kaizer Chiefs youth coach Thabo Tsutsulupa,” said Prince Rulashe, chairperson of Puma Rangers FC, hosts of the off-season tournament.
