Ending the year on the right foot

Students and coaches at the Mark Strydom SA JKA Karate Centre celebrate a successful year with a year-end championships.

The students and coaches of the Mark Strydom SA JKA Karate Centre, in Wychwood, celebrated a successful 2017 with in-house championships recently.

The championships were held at the dojo and saw members’ kata and kumite being graded.

“I am proud of all the students and pleased with the time and effort the juniors and seniors have put in the past year.

“We look forward to the new year,” said sensei Mark Strydom.

The club reopened on Monday.
