Germiston FC search for players
The Germiston City Football Club will be hosting trials this weekend at Germiston City Sports Club.
Training is in full swing at the Germiston City Football Club and the club is looking forward to the new season.
With the new winter football season set to kick-off in March, the club will be holding trials this weekend, January 20 and 21, at the Germiston City Sports Club in Vimy Ridge Road in Delville.
The trials will take place under the watchful eye of coaches Sreten Pavlovic, Wiseman Ntuli and Tony Kasim, and the new addition to the coaching team, Calvin Taelo, who will be overseeing youth development at the club and coaching the u-17 team.

This year the senior teams will once again be competing in the Eastern Local Football Association’s (ELFA) Super League.
The junior teams, u-12 to u-17, who will start training later this month, will be competing in the Super League this year, as well as local leagues in their respective age groups.
In addition, the club is appealing for sponsors as the club is battling to survive.
“We are battling to keep our heads above water on just subscriptions and our limited sponsorships,” said Peter Oliver on behalf of the club.
