Germiston City FC teach children the ins-and-outs of football
Germiston City Football Club’s new football academy grows after launching in February.
Germiston City Football Club recently opened the doors to their football academy.
The academy was opened after the club’s head coach Sreten Pavlovic noticed a gap in the basic skills of the footballers he trains.

“I have been coaching seniors for five years and continue to see players with little or no basic skills,” he explained.
“To this end, I have decided to start an academy for young children.”
The academy, which is based at Germiston City Sports Club, is open to boys from six years old to 11 years old.
“The academy is growing with every practice and I am satisfied with the progress so far,” said Pavlovic.

Practices are held on Saturday and Sunday mornings between 8am and 10am.
“We still have room for a few more children,” he said.
