Clinton Cook is making a name for himself in the canoeing world and has no plans to stop.
Clinton Cook (27), a former Germiston resident who now lives in Parkhurst, started canoeing at the tender age of eight and has never looked back.
“I think it was my love of water and nature that kept me interested in the sport all these years,” Cook said.
“But, it is also a pretty unique sport.
“Growing up I was, more often than not, the only child in school who paddled.”

The sportsman, who works as a merchandise planner and buyer for Spitz and Kurt Geiger Footwear after moving back to Johannesburg after living in KwaZulu-Natal, has made a name for himself in the 19 years he has been on the water.
