Luso’s young division heads to the quarter-finals in Cup Games

Luso Africa FC’s u-12 and u-13 teams head to quarter-finals in Eastern Local Football Association (ELFA) Super League Cup Games.

Following a successful win against Edenvale Football Club recently, Luso Africa Football Club’s u-13 team travelled to Edenvale last Sunday for yet another thrilling clash against Edenvale in a Cup Game match in the Eastern Local Football Association (ELFA) Super League.

The teams battled it out for a spot in the quarter-finals at JP Bezuidenhout Stadium.

With a long-range shot, Blessing Mpasuka placed Luso on the scoreboard.

Raji Hammed followed up with a second shot from the middle field.

Neville Ndala sealed the deal for the boys with a third goal, and they sent Edenvale packing, with a 3-1 defeat.

The u-12s followed their seniors by qualifying for the quarter-finals last Sunday, with a 3-0 win against Bedfordview Country Club Football Club (BCC) played at Hattingh Park in Primrose.

Siyasanga Mazele was the leading scorer of the day, with three goals under his belt.
