Print Exclusive: Ntokozo speeds ahead of the competition
Primrose High School learner Ntokozo Gumede is excelling in long-distance running in track events and in cross-country.
Fourteen-year-old Ntokozo Gumede’s love of long-distance running was ignited by her father Zakhele, who has trained her since she was a little girl.
“We have been able to bond over our love for running,” Gumede said, when the GCN spoke to her on Thursday.

This passion has blossomed into a true talent as Gumede, a Primrose High School learner, is excelling not only in the 800m, 1 500m and 3 000m distances on the track, but in cross-country as well.
