Improve your rugby skills at rugby academy

Are you interested in playing rugby?

Do you want to improve your skills and abilities?

If so then the Elsburg Eagles Junior Rugby Club Academy is the place for you.

Chris Fritz from the club said, “We are starting the academy to help players develop and improve their rugby skills and abilities.

“The academy will deal with skills and technique specific rugby.”

There will be a monthly fee for the academy.

All players from u-6 to u-13 are welcome to register.

The academy, which is due to start with training on March 4, will take place every Wednesday from 5.30pm to 7pm at the Elsburg Rugby Club, situated on the corner of Egret Street and Heidelberg Road in Elspark.

The Elsburg Eagles Junior Rugby Academy will focus on the following:

• Handling skills improvement and player development

• Defence technique

• Speed and agility training

• Fitness and conditioning

• Position specific coaching

• Rugby safety

• Coach development
