The 12-day trip will see 60 youngsters leave the country on December 2 and return to South Africa on December 13.

Michael is described by his father Eric Devy as a well-mannered, caring, intelligent young man who adores animals and loves to play rugby.

“This will be his first time travelling overseas. When he talks about this opportunity, I can see the excitement exploding within him,” said Eric.

The total amount needed for the tour is R45 000, which covers flight tickets from South Africa to the UK and back, accommodation, food and transport in the UK.

The Devy family urges the community to assist in raising funds to cover the tour costs.

“We are blessed to contribute approximately R15 000 towards the R45 000, as well as approximately R3 000 for some spending money.

“The full amount is outside our reach at this stage, hence my reason for reaching out to anyone that could assist,” said Eric.

“All donations made will go directly to Titans Rugby. The due date for the amount is set for November 31,” said Eric.

Michael will partake in several elite games, as well as visit landmarks in London and Cardiff.

This will be an enriching tour experience to not only create once-in-a-lifetime memories but to further develop his rugby and knowledge of the world.
