Germiston City Basketball Club takes third place in tournament
The participating teams showcased their skills and determination throughout the tournament, delivering an impressive display of basketball and social cohesion.
The East Point Mall Shopping Centre hosted another thrilling East Point Shopping Centre 3×3 Basketball Tournament last weekend.
The Germiston City Basketball Club came third overall.
The games were played in the shopping centres’s parking lot, attracting enthusiastic local schools, clubs and players.

The fast-paced and dynamic games provided exciting entertainment for spectators and participants alike.
The participating teams showcased their skills and determination throughout the tournament, delivering an impressive display of basketball and social cohesion.
Teams were grouped into U14, U15, U16 and U18 divisions.
They hailed from Reddam House (Bedfordview), Saheti School, Bedfordview High School, Norkem Park High School, Willowmoore High School, Edenvale Lions Academy, Katlehong Raptors Basketball Club and Jump Academy SA.
“The tournament served as a great platform for local basketball enthusiasts to connect and compete. The positive energy and competitive spirit reached a new high,” said Seaparo Ramaube, head of development.
“Norkem Park High School (Kempton Park) emerged as the overall winners. They won gold in two categories and silver in the third.”
